Hi, how was your weekend?

I had a four day weekend and deliberately wanted to spend the time outdoors together as a family. I also wanted to spend it away from Instagram, Facebook, posting, taking pictures, and so on and solely focus on enjoying my family, and that’s what we did except today where I took out my camera out to snap some pictures.

In our 2007 Jeep, we have an album binder full of CDs from when CD buying was a thing. Our radio stopped working several years ago when I took the car to a car wash and came out without an antenna. The car already had bumps and bruises so I never considered replacing the antenna. Rather we moved forward, or should I say backward, to the world of compact disks. Among the CDs in the binder is a Top Hits of 1983. It may very well be my favorite album. There is something great about 80s music, dare I say, it was THE best music time period? READ MORE

It is no surprise that this is a very busy season for us. One in which simple tasks like buying groceries can become too much to do by myself on the weekend so every so often I’ve used a delivery service. A few months ago, I decided to try a new one and as I chose my produce online I found myself choosing more than I normally would, things like tomatoes and greens I’d normally reserve for myself to choose later when I was able to go to the store. While I waited for the company to pack and deliver my groceries I mentioned to Joshua how I felt better about letting this company chose the produce I normally never ordered online.
